Default Stumbleudon

Hi all! I just wanted to see if anyone is using StumbleUdon? If so, how is it working out for you? I have it and have a few invites I can give away for those who want them (stumbleudon is an invite only service, read about it at their site stumbleudon.com)

But my true question is, how well is it working for those using it? Is the basic 5 credits you can use per day enough to get your site a large amount of traffic? How about buying Udons, is that worth it at all? I'd like to hear as many experiences as possible!

Thanks!

Tim,

These type of things do get some decent traffic to your blog but it also makes you lose a lot of credibility since most of these services end up getting you lots of spam reviews.

Interesting, I can see your point with that. Thanks for the feedback about it!

I was reviewed as a spammer, but it was unintentional on my part.

I was meeting folks in other forums and we casually mentioned a SU friends exchange. Next thing I know someone reviewed me as a spammer and made reference to the post.

I do understand now that it is considered spam, but it was a little disturbing at the time how it came about.

I think Stumble can be good depending on your subject matter and audience. Just be careful not to do things the wrong way or you learn the hard way like me.

Would you all recommend it? If its something thats worthwhile I'll take an invite, I'm just not going to waste time on it if it isn't worthwhile.

I got banned from Digg once a little while back, That's one good thing about having DSL, just restart the modem and now your a new IP.
Now I know to take promotion in more moderations and not to digg all my posts.

I thought you meant StumbleUpon which I know works quite well - I'd not heard of this one before.

I avoided stumbleudon deliberately because you dont' have control over which sites you're stumbling. I much prefer using Piqqus.com, which lets you maintain some quality control over what you use your stumbles and diggs for. It's by the same people, and is also invite only.
