If I find the blog interesting, then I stick around a little longer. So to me, chain dropping isn't a bad thing. For one, you are basically earning credits for the other bloggers when you drop your card on their blog. If they have a post that catches your attention then you might become a regular reader of their blog. Finally, when they reciprocate your drop, they can check out your blog and could potentially become a regular reader.
Well, I guess you'll never get me to visit your blog only because I don't reciprocate dropping anymore so more than likely I won't even know you visited my site.

I do, however, visit every blog that leaves a comment on my blog and usually comment back as well.

But SU is definitely a better way for traffic, if you ask me.
So how do you exactly improve your SU rate?

The fact that you can visit 300 blogs in 20 minutes is just testament to the poor quality of Entrecard Traffic.

300 blogs in 20 minutes is 15 blogs per minute or 1 every 4 seconds.

4 seconds is barely enough time for a page to load.

That really isn't hard.

1) Be an active user of SU.

2) Do not stumble your own content!!!!

3) Submit only your best stuff to to forums for other people to stumble. Do not submit eveything, just your best stuff and only a few per week.

One time I had an average site time of 0 seconds....with over 100 visits, all from entrecard.

I guess they must all have high speed internet or something to be able to drop in and out in a fraction of a second .

Well, I'm a drop and runaway type dropper, but I'm still will hovering at least 5 seconds at a site before I'm leaving it, sometime even longer because of the blog's great content...

I agree with that,i will still drop as fast as i can ,but when there is topic which are interesting and useful to me,i will copy the link into notepad and mark"will check later"so i will continue to read after i dropped at least 150 .Two things i gained here.1)Useful resources-i might interact with the authors by commenting the post and build up the rapport 2)credits-i can use it to advertise which is more effective and it cost nth to me .
