Yea I think it depends of your content. For my blog, Digg helps me a lot since it's about gaming and that there are a lot of gamers on Digg.

Getting your story up on the front page of Digg is really hard . I have found Stumblupon a lot more effective in gaining traffic .

Definitely... but it seems Digg users maybe actually subscribe as well... but yeah, I'm not a Digg fan either.

Also find SU easier and have very little to no experience with Digg. I would also agree Digg is a much more technology inclined user base so certain type of content tend to do better than others by default almost.
