I just want to build a reputation for Entrecard as high quality, and a little prestigious. You know, a community bloggers WANT to be part of. Not a place where people trick you into thinking your blog is about bikini models.

Agreed when I'm looking through tones of cards if I do happen to stumble upon something that catches my eye it should be relevant. Obviously no way to truly police 100%it but some people were totally off topic with a girl that was rather "racy" for family friendly audiences. It's good that something is being done about it.

I had one of some girl lying on her bed(for a MMO site) for an entire day here and it just wasn't a good vibe. I didn't delete it because at that point I thought it would be cool to have a 0% or as close to it as possible late rejection rate.


Ben: Regarding the entrecard on PW I also saw it on some entrecard's themselves. It would have 2 (Drop Yours) one above the other. The first time I saw it I fell for it and clicked the top one which was part of the entrecard image.

I've seen a few cards with 'I drop back' on them, but I haven't seen any fake widgets yet.

I agree about the chick pictures though: I refuse to publish anything of that nature on on my blogs, whether it's project wonderful or Entrecard. Most of my readers are female, as am I, and they're all either offensive or annoying, and not at all related.

Part of the reason I'm not so into the Sprott exchange is that supposedly you can't pick which ads display... Not a big selling feature for me. We had a "girl" type ad here once and it wasn't a good vibe. It was more awkward then anything I think as it's totally unrelated. Look at our mascot! We're closer to Astro Boy then that!

I think your card should resemble what your blog is about. If your site is about finance, your card should portray that.
