![]() Also I hear ya it is alittle different now but seriously another good thing to do is go on an eC cruise... Pick a blog with EC and just go from ad to ad to ad to ad finding new stuff. I guess it's differnet for Ben and I as we are well; blogging resources! Therefor anyone with a blog is in our niche...

Jay, I think it's pretty foolish for a splog owner to join Entrecard and drop cards on people. All it does is say "hey, I own a splog" - and many people will report the site for a TOS violation. I'd assume that if they want a quick gain from Entrecard, they'll start by dropping cards on the most active people first - and some of those people are also the ones most likely to report sites. (OK, a sweeping generalisation there, but I can think of plenty of people who report sites.) Blogs that get removed from Entrecard cannot use any credits they have built up, so I don't see it as a major problem. That said, there is talk of moving to a manual approval system where a few people check out sites before they are allowed to gain access. Quite a bit of work but it'll help stem the flow of spammy sites.
Rob's right though - we do have an advantage due to the nature of our sites. Then again, there are other sites who do similar things but don't do as well. You get out what you put in. This is more true of Entrecard than most other networking sites that I've used. If you're not actively using it, you'll fade away. |

I seem to love the networking part where I have discovered quite a many good blogs.
If nothing else, I love the fun I have in using them Have managed to get my ad approved on one of my favorite blogs for later this month, will be nice to see how it goes So I guess in just a day I am loving it |

Where critics have their say on unproductive traffic, all I can say to that it will improve once the EntreCards are exposed to more non network members. It will take time but it will happen sooner or later. Nothing to lose, but lots to gain. And I agree with you when you said that the networking part helps a lot. Have discovered some great blogs already. Also my ad has been successfully approved on one of my fav blogs, which otherwise would never have been possible. Technically it was actually free Just worried about the fact that I rejected about a dozen unrelated ads. Hope I am not in for a backlash as after all they are the people I cater too. p.s. Webmasters can get touchy |
