Just for the hell of it, I went and check my Google Analytics numbers for the past three months, comparing Entrecard vs StumbleUpon vs. BlogCatalog vs BloggersChoice (which I get a fair amount of traffic from)

Here are the numbers:



StumbleUpon has the 1) most traffic, 2) lowest bounce rate, 3) most % new visits. That's the triple crown in my book.

I should note for about 2/3 of that time period, I was dropping zero cards a day. For the other third, I was dropping about 100-200 a day.

Impressive. Something that should have crossed my mind earlier was maybe your site is doing so well on SU because it's an awesome site? Your design is killer and it's got great content for anyone searching for travel related. I think many people are quick to blame a source before looking at their product.
