Pinterest - Are you pinning away?

I doubt many of you who are out to make money or writing SEO blogs are there, but any of the hobby bloggers, mommy bloggers, internet addicts, etc, I bet you're pinning away.

I started getting a nice sized trickle of traffic from there before I even joined, and even more now that I'm getting more active. I'd love to find some new people to follow (or who would like to follow me).

If you're using it, what do you think? Everybody else, have you even heard of it? It's been around for quite a while, but just now hitting it really big.

I've heard that they have had some explosive growth in the last 6 months or so.

I've checked the site out and use it to find some interesting information, but have no idea of how to use it to promote my blogs.

I really like Pinterest. I have posted there and notice some people are there I know from other sites. Also, I post my photography and other people's pins that I really like. Later, I want to make more than one Pinterest board.

I haven't noticed a jump from Pinterest to readership. BUT I think it may happen later on. I will go check out your Pinterest board(s) now. :-)

I have found some really interesting pins other people have posted too. It's fun to see what is on that site!

notice some people are there I know from other sites.

They made it really easy to find people you're already connected with from Facebook or Twitter, so you may be running into people you recognize more frequently because of that.

Here is a link to an article which is great overall, but also got me interested in pinterest. It's having a pretty decent effect on my traffic, but we'll see if it holds up.

You should! It's actually moved up to being my number 2 traffic provider....above stumbleupon even.

Just discovered that Pinterest provide a "Follow me" button for blogs - just need to remember to keep pinning now.
