Hi, just a quick question from a novice. if I were to link my blog to facebook, does this mean that every time I up date my blog the actual content of the blog will appear on facebook, on my wall or whatever?

I make use of Facebook and Twitter, but just make sure you have lots of friends or followers for your site to get notice. Be consistent in adding targeted friends and followers to make this work for you.

No. You would still have to "fetch" your blog content to get it published to your wall or etc.

You can manually link to a blog post when you publish it by sharing the link in Facebook.

There are various ways to get your blog post automatically published to your Facebook page.

One way is to use Notes. I've checked recently and it seems that you can only do this for a Facebook page.

1. Go to your Facebook page (if you don't have one, create one for your blog first).
2. Click on Edit Page link at the top left hand corner below your picture.
3. At the next page, click on Apps. Find Notes and then click on the Go to App link below it.
4. Look for the link that says Edit import settings at the bottom of the left sidebar and click on it.
5. Enter your blog RSS feed in the form and click on the Start Importing button. Remember to check the box first.

That's it. Whenever you publish a new post, it will appear on your Facebook page. Please note that it may take some time before a post appears on your page wall. It doesn't usually happen immediately. Be patient.
