how to increase the number of fans in facebook

Facebook connect for logging in to Facebook from your site, the Like/Recommend button etc.

Check my blog for those.

You could install wibiya toolbar which comes bundled with everything... Facebook + Twitter + Yahoo + Myspace + Social bookmarking + Chat rooms (If you ever need to use them) etc. I <3 Wibiya toolbar (Installed on my blog something like a week ago)

Some people pay and it gets the ball rolling.

I have never spent a dime on publicity so I will not.

Good content is king I do believe but also ask yourself what your blog is about, not all blogs command large audiences. A tech blog will be larger than a (insert some niche here) blog.

How about promoting a fan page & twitter without actually accessing them? Just promoting them using a third party. Is there a good way to promote your site by doing that?
