any of you can help me to understand how can Facebook can help my sites either in terms of traffic or ranking ?, and what is the best way of doing it?

The networkblog application is helpful to get people linked to your site. It automatically pops up on the news feed. Also, you can link your twitter and facebook account together so when you update the status on one then it automatically updates the other.

I agree with sheppy in that overall Twitter is probably the better of the two sites as far as ability to network and gain a following. Twitter's simplicity is the key here as well as the retweet ability. If one of your posts gets retweeted by someone with 100+ thousand followers you will undoubtedly see an increase in traffic that Facebook share could never match. That's not to say facebook is worthless. As you can see in my sig I have a FB fan page for my blog just because it's another outlet to get the word out to the world.

You need more skills and professional know how to use facebook effectively for promotion while Twitter is very simple for this purpose. But both have their own capacities for promotion purpose and need to adopt any one or both depending on your needs and skills. Regards! PrintingHost.com |

I will say though that the facebook status updates do work effectively well since all your friends see it on their newsfeeds.

i'm now headlong into facebook's networked blogs application and one twitter one i've just found Get twitter followers and friends | twiends.com - twitter is spreading like wildfire and i just hope the traffic does as well - cheers
