Ideas for giveaway contests on Facebook

I'm starting to do giveaways on Facebook but I need ideas on how to conduct them. The first and only one I did involved me uploading a picture of a quarter machine capsule filled with jelly beans and asking fans to guess the numbers of beans inside. Whoever came the closest without going over won the prize.

That worked out great but now I am in need of more ideas. I don't want to do the same contest over and over.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!

not having done such a thing, i don't know about the delivery or prize value needed. sporting, political results or social outcomes such as will he ? won't she ? - maybe something to create. sorry but i have to ask what benefit is there for the participant and you ?

btw - i've gone mad trying to follow blogs through the facebook app "networked blogs" - i'd recommend that as a given .. could everyone please follow tbaoo, when you have a moment,

Not really that creative with contests as i myself ocassionally solicit for information too. Just a reminder, I think Facebook has a policy against contests that are held on Facebook and if they find your contest against their TOS, you'll be conned into paying some huge fee i believe

To address an earlier question about why would I want to conduct giveaways on facebook, my blog is a giveaway blog. i give away toys at least once a week and I try to give away two a week. I was leaving them in public places randomly and disclosing their locations and times of placement, and that's fine for people who live in my immediate area, but I really wanted people all over the place to have a chance at getting my toys. I figured if I conducted giveaways on Facebook anyone who is active on the site could win. So if anyone has any ideas on how to conduct giveaway contests on FB please share your ideas! Thanks!!
