Default Social Media hype

Hi guys

A new member of your digital world.

These days I find every other person a social media expert on social networks like LinkedIn etc. sometimes I wonder whether social media really makes difference or people are just cashing in?

off topic: I don't find option to mention SIGNATURE. How do I do that?

Hi

Social media has benefits over traffic methods. In my personal opinion you are going to get people say they are experts at anything. I am sure you've heard the theory: "If you know just a bit more than anyone else, that makes you an expert".

I think you see so many experts in Social Media these days because of the excitement around it. There are still so many unanswered questions around Social Media, that people are rushing to be the first to have answers for those questions. A perfect example of this is Social Media ROI. How do you measure it?

Social Media can definitely make a difference. But just like blogging, it's all about what you put into it.

I'm not denying that social media works, but can't it take away from visitors to your blog also?
If you're posting summaries of posts on twitter, or submitting your posts to facebook, why would people visit the blog?
