Default Facebook Marketing

After you've mastered the basics of Facebook and set up Facebook fan pages for your business, it's time to promote your fan pages and identify ways to be found in real time search results.

Is customer loyalty important to you? Have you ever wondered about which sources provide loyal visitors who will repeatedly return to your site?
Chitika analyzed the browsing habits of 33 million unique visitors during September. They found that Facebook provides the most loyal visitors, with 20 percent of those who originate from the social network in turn visiting the site they landed on four or more times in a week. Other notable social media sites include Digg at 16 percent and Twitter at 11 percent.

This should help you feel better about the time you invest marketing on Facebook.

Thumbs up Re: Facebook Marketing

I have utilized Facebook to advertise a number of positions and product offerings, and one of the most useful aspects to advertising there is my ability to target a customer. For example, if I am looking to sell a piece of art, or promote a show I can find people who have specifically listed an interest in that on their profiles. Something to take into consideration is many people who would be potential customers get left out of the targeted advertising cohort because they simply did not complete their full profile.

No Fan Page here, but I send all my updates through the "status", very sticky but it's a travel blog, not sure how others would do.

I am intersted in figuring out the secret to making DIGG work...what is it about DIGG that I am not getting?
