I've only just discovered this today, coincidentally enough. So I can't personally report on how effective it really is for getting more traffic to your site from StumbleUpon, but from what I've read it works pretty well, so I'm going to give it a shot.

I love that idea, I am going to use that. I post a lot of tiny urls from my youtube page to my blog so I will just do this instead

I've already posted on this thread stating that I was struggling with stumbleupon to get any decent traffic. but somehow miraculously in the last 10 days things have reallly started working with 50-100 hits a day coming if I stumble my posts...

The best i've ever got was 30000 page hits in one day from stumbleupon. One of my posts just took off. I can't remember who said it, about submitting your own article counting less. IMO, for every 10 articles I submit, one of them will hit 1K page views. For every piece of content that succeeds, there will be 9 that fail and 1 which will do ok. That's my view. Though my site is mainly just 1/2 pictures or cartoons, other content may be different.
