Web Design will become famous soon enough
Default Re: yahoo answers

Yahoo Answers can send a fair volume of traffic. I have never paid to have people write answers, and Yahoo is pretty vigilant about that sort of thing, but in theory it could work.

As Web Design mentioned it's against Yahoo's rules. I actually don't think that there are advertisers that want a link back from Yahoo Answers since it could only drive people to their web site but not increase their search engine ranking.

I've used Yahoo Answers to drive some decent traffic to my sites. Just go on their, answer a bunch of questions, and include a link back to your site.

If it's done correctly and sparingly (so don't just go and spam the site with your link), then it can create some steady traffic.

Yup it works well if you answered it right. I 'll suggest don't try to answer things you don't know always try to answer things in which you are good enough.

Don;t drop your link every time, and if you do try to make it only to a relevant post rather than the whole blog and consider including a wiki link, so that iit looks like research rather than promoting one blog.

You can get sick of it though. Traffic varies but some answers get high search engine rankings, and if you're the chosen answer then your link is right there.
