yahoo answer can be a good way to drive traffic...do it better, you dont have to spam it just to get traffic..contribute and answer well

I agree with the commenters above. Yahoo! Answers has the potential to help with website SEO a lot, but only if you manage to avoiding sounding spammy or getting banned. The thing is, if you have a business, you should be able to answer questions about SOMETHING, whether it's exterminating bed bugs or installing new door knobs. (And trust me, I've blogged about both. I used to do YA a lot. It can drive a lot of traffic and also help increase your authority status, if that's what you're after. It's also good for SEO, despite not allowing anchor text. The method I used was to place my primary keyword right before the link and secondary keyword right after it. And it's not just SEO. You'll be surprised how often your actual responses appear in Google results, not just Yahoo.
