How social networks work?

Hey guys,

Every one talks about social networks nowadays. If you are using it to get leads/ sales, would you please give us some tips. How do you promote?

It's more than just "opening a Facebook group" or being a "friend whore." Social Media is about building relationships, and engaging with other people.

If you're trying to get into social media specifically for sales/leads, you must go into with the mindset that this probably won't happen immediately. Long-term, yes...but if you enter social media only trying to push a product or sales, users will see right through you and will consider you spam.

Well, as someone who has been approached a few times - naturally - on Facebook I can't honestly say it is a fun approach.

Being a 'Friend Whore' is merely my way of showing disapproval for such efforts. Sorry.

one way is through having lots of friends or even join a group and participate..you can put some links in some post and share it..

Be yourself and make sure that not every other word out of your mouth is a sales pitch. Slip it in to a conversation when the time is appropriate, but make the majority of your stay, all about making friends.
