I am in agreement with most of you... it is pretty much impossible to read every tweet. I do wonder how effective twitter really is if the majority of us feel the same way????

| Well the thing is, we're all reading 'some' of the tweets, and the ones that are standing out and getting our attention are really getting out their to their audiences. This is a time where quality is quite important.

I use Twirl and, same as Alex, I like to read them as they pop up. I usually skim them all at the end of the day and actually read the ones that appear interesting. I think that the fact that you are dealing with under 140 characters makes it very easy to skim the tidbits of information... also I find that certain avatars will always catch my eye because I know they usually have something good. |

Its not practically possible, unless you are following very few people. I will go mad if I read everything. But during the time I have Seesmic running I read the majority of comments. But dont bother to check updates posted when I wasnt online.
