Google to buy Twitter?

There's a whole bunch of talk about Google possibly buying Twitter, so what would you think of it? Do you think it'd be a good or bad move for Twitter? How would it change?

I've heard a ton about it. If it happens I hope it doesn't become all spammy with ads... I hope Google using their assets to make it better and able to become more "personalized".

I think it's a natural assumption as the search is the biggest / best thing about twitter. That said it's starting to look like MSN chat in the late 90's... TONES of bots already. Thing is you chose who you wish to follow so...

I think it would be a good decision for Twitter to sell to Google if they are offering to buy. Twitter would probably change for the better if this was to happen, because just about everything Google does is done extremely well.

If I were twitter I would probably sell out now. I think that Twitter will start going downhill. Right now it is popular, but it is starting to get much to spammy. I can't imagine that it will last if it continues down the path that it is heading down.

As much I love Twitter, it starts to have some technical errors from time to time, image icon failed to show up; over capicity; disappearance of followers due to auto-unfollowing... unless they wish to keep the ball rolling, I suggest a better control is required. Not too crazy about google taking over due to adsense-phobia, but it's up to Twitter, if they think the price is right.
