Digg could be really helpful for you if can make a good networking over there. You need to have as many friends as you can only then Digg is of good use. Otherwise useless i guess so

Digg used to be good, but it's so easy to simulate, if you do not have hours a day devoted to it, you'll never see your story on the homepage. I recommend visiting niche sites like Digg, but

Actually, Facebook is by far the best social site. It's easy to work with and you can even market on it if you happen to be after a buck or two.

I don't have a Digg link on my blog or anything like that. Perhaps i should as it couldn't hurt to have a little Digg icon under every post.

I see digg as an "All or Nothing Tool" If you digg your own post or get just a few people to digg it than it is pretty much pointless. It doesn't pass any SE juice or get you any traffic.

However, if you can get a bunch of ppl to digg your post it can get you a lot of traffic from digg and it that can lead to a lot of backlinks and traffic from other sources.
