I have a new technology/gadget blog up, any comments are welcome.

How do you think I could improve it?

Here are some point I would work on (it's my personal opinion based on my small blogging experience) :
- Add a RSS icon above the fold
- Add a "contact" page
- Add categories to categorize the posts and help ppl find what they are looking for
- Add a search engine of some sort (google or wordpress default to begin with)
- Add a "best of" or something that display best posts and last comments in the sidebar
- In my opinion, your posts need more "air". The image is fine to draw attention, but you need big titles to separate paragraphs, now it's just in the "block".
- I would change the theme you use, it's too simple (in my opinion). There is a lot of great free themes at smashingmagazine.com : 100 Excellent Free WordPress Themes | Developer's Toolbox | Smashing Magazine

I quite like the theme but agree that its a bit boring (looking at getting a new header), and will look to alter the CSS for the text.

Any other comments guys?

Looking at it from an aesthetic viewpoint, the header leaves me hanging... It's kind of the 'foundation' of the look of the blog

What would be the advantage of using a service like aweber for a blog?

Looks good but the Tech Blogging industry is so intense I think you need to differentiate yourself with a killer header. I know I know it's time and money but this is a very competitive niche. You gotta look as tech inclined and serious as possible. Hold off for a bit but just an idea.

i love how you have the title and the nav bar to the right. As soon as im directed to your blog, the title of the post is right there and the content right below it. Users eyes go naturally to the content, instead of the periphery of blog headlines, nav bars, etc.
kudos on keeping the design simple.
