I know its quite old, about 8 months since i started my blog and have some good traffic.
I conducted a contest last month receiving tremendous response and looking forward to hold one more very soon, gathering sponsors if you would like to become a sponsor, get in touch with me!

kind reviews is not the kind of review you want. You want a hard one that will make you improve your website

First off, things I liked: good favicon (though it does look a bit like a ripoff of the Big Black symbol thing), banner, ad placement is perfect, good rating system, your recent posts/comments part looks great, the subscribe stuff is good placement, and very attractive.

next, the things I think you could improve on:
-Looking at your banner, it looks like your main colors are white and red...why not try and incorporate that more into your website? All I see are different shades of blue...the lightish blue right under the banner section and surrounding your posts and columns is ugly, I suggest changing it. The random black background for the links up top is a bit odd and doesn't really match the website either.
--I think if you are going to have a login and register option, it would go better up top with the other links. It can easily be overlooked at its current location
---The blinking "Read the Full Post" needs to go, it is quite annoying. I can see it fine without it blinking in my face :P
--I think the comments link should go below the post, not above. I normally know when I want to comment at the bottom of the post, I don't want to have to scroll up just to click the link to bring me to the post comment area.
-overall very good blog, with a few changes, it could be top notch. Hopefully a little of my constructive criticism helped you out a bit.
