The blog I started a few days ago mirrors one of my preoccupations: discussions on the issue of free will. Liber arbiter means 'free will' in Latin. I was surprised to see that the blog shows first in google searches. Then it hit me. No one else ever uses the phrase (so no one will ever look it up). I'm a perfect newbie in blogging and I don't know if I managed to make the best of the tools I found on google blogger at blogspot: Liber Arbiter. The blog is under construction.
What do you think? Thanks. ![]() |

Yeah, it's a blog for people who are not afraid of thinking deep.
![]() Yesterday someone frightened me about those spam trolls who may ruin your blog with their comments, so I canceled the option that people could leave a few lines if they wanted. Now I have decided I would still enable this option, while I'll introduce moderation to it. Otherwise, I'm still working. It feels like it's going to take a life time to build the site I want.

Very interesting...did you write the summaries of the each philosopher? The only suggestion I have, is that if you copied text from another source, to credit the source.

![]() No, I haven't copied the texts; I've only used sources such as books, encyclopedias, etc. The summaries are written by myself. I want to make this project a personal investigation, not a compilation of what other people have said. Thank you for visit the site. It is under construction. And writing all these summaries is & will be taking a lot of time. As far as a remember, the first philosopher to specifically refer to free will is Plato, and there are about twenty - thirty philosophers BEFORE Plato that I might have to write summaries on due to their contributions which may have played a role in the debate determinism vs free will. Oh, well. It's time consuming but it's fun, and any comments please me really (you know what it's like). ![]() Thank you. I've enabled the comment option for people to leave messages if they want to post their reaction.
