Appreciate if you could take some time to review and give your comments about my personal blog that shares information and tips about aquarium fish keeping.

All About Aquarium Fish

It has been around for 7 months now and I still feel there's a lot more work to be done to improve it. Look forward to some ideas (good and bad) from expert members here

Of course besides being on blogspot I think it looks good.

I'm a fish owner and would love to see better site navigation.

Having more of a complete blog can't hurt. A sidebar section pointing to great posts to read as well as recommended fish, easy to keep etc. Of course betta should be mentioned

That's a great blog. It's nice to see someone writing quality articles on a subject that really interests them - that's what blogging is all about. It's always sensible to choose a niche that really interests you, so that you perservere and don't get bored. Content is king so keep plugging away with regular new content.

Your own domain is desirable, but there's absolutely no harm in stopping with Blogger hosting.

Hi, guys. Points noted. I was thinking of doing 301 redirect with own domain but was worried about the effects on current page rank although traffic may not be affected. Any advice?

It needs a bit more colour. I'm not sure if there are any fishy blogspot templates, but it wouldn't hurt to look. Having pictures in each post works well- keep that up. You may also be able to make your pictures full size rather than thumbnails. At the moment when you click the pictures you are taken to a page with just hte picture at the same size, which isn't necessary.

You can't do a 301 redirect because it's hosted on Blogger and you haven't got the right admin privileges. The best you can do is a meta refresh - you'll keep your traffic but forfeit your PR. Worst case scenario is that it takes a few months after shifting to your own hosting to get your PR back.

I have many fish, and like the content.
I don't like the google ad just below the header. When I see those at the top, I generally move along to another site.
