Blog Design Too Drab?

Hello. I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my blog and tell me if the design is too plain. Originally, I wanted to keep it simple as I didn't want to distract people from my content, but now I'm not too sure. Any advice/comments/feedback would be helpful!

You might want to post a link to your blog so we can actually look at it. Personally if a design is too plain, it's not memorable enough to return.

I think it is fine for now, but I would change the white text on black background - for many people that can be tiresome on the eyes and an incentive not to visit.

Honestly, many many people use this same "skin" for many different types of blogs. IMHO I would change it asap.

yeah I would change it too. It is too dark and since you want to help people you might want to consider using a different color.

i agree with what others said.. there are lots of free templates on the web that you can use..

The darkness give the inference that you are writing something dark, instead of gaining your feeling of hope.
The writing style is good and captures the reader.

I would change the theme. Concentrate on hope and positivity to draw readers.
