I have a few people saying that I need to focus on one topic. My life and that which I choose to write about is not so black and white. Could you look at a few posts and tell me if I'm to "all over the place".

I am new to this myself.
But perhaps you could open up a couple more blogs? You could have a loose topic or two, on several different blogs, and depending on your mood and desires, you could post on whichever is needed at the time. I myself have a few different blogs, because posting one topic may not fit in with my current idea or flow. |

I have to say, I like the humor.. and it seems you have a nice pr going, and your alexa ranking is quite good, (if alexa means anything these days, I cant figure that one out)
if you are getting the hits, and the readers are loyal.. I think you are doing good... How old is the blog? |

Its only 4 months old and I get 2-3k UV a day with about 500 return readers. I thought anout the multi blog thing but I feel that Id be spreading myself to thin

I think it's doing pretty well IMO, I am fairly new to it all though, just almost a year of blogging.
It will spread you thin, maybe try to sum up 2 topics that you would split off and branch out. I say if your readers are loyal, and you are getting good visitors.. you must be doing something right! |

I completely disagree about splitting multiple topics into multiple blogs. Unless you are combining Asian Horticulture and a "how to cook clams" web-site, I think it's fine.
Your general theme is humor, and you have a proven "traffic" record...so why change? Unless--you are out to make $$...then a more focused site may help.
