Here is my other blog. It is on indigenous peoples and the issues effecting them around the world. Fairly informative, so like my other one I've gone with a minimal theme. Of course, I'd be into any suggestions on improving click through or SEO aspects.

Intellectually speaking, your blog is extremely interesting! I just spent 30 min. reading various articles and you obviously know your subject. You also have an interesting background.

I guess the main question would be: what do you want to do with your blog? Do you want to teach people about various issues, let people discuss about them...? It's not easy to market "intellectual" blogs I found. Just my 2 cents.

Your blog is fine with a minimalist template but I'd suggest you to:

1) Put your about me on the top so that people will see your background immediately.

2) Your blog could use a "more catchy" header. I'd suggest a nice image (background picture), it would really break the b/w scheme.

3) Put the feed at the top as well so people can subscribe easily.

Just a few suggestions!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'm working on adding more color, especially in the header but just have not had the time to design up a cool image. Good call on moving the subscribe up higher. Beyond advocacy and all that it entails (education, fostering discussions, exposing issues, getting the word out) I have not thought much beyond the "blogs" purpose. I guess I have some thinking to do. Thanks again.
