My Hmphs - a site dedicated to good pop music

Hi all,

I'd like for you all to take a look at my site, which has been up for about 3 months now. It's called My Hmphs (A takeoff on the Black Eyed Peas song, which may be the worst song ever written), and it's my attempt to find the good music among all the lightweight, atonal tracks you hear on the radio.

Please take a look and let me know what you think! I'm interested in the basics - overall design, what did/didn't keep you around, ad placement, and any other useful ideas for the blog in general.

Very good layout. The ads are placed well and aren't overdone or annoying, which I think is very important. The color scheme is good and does not conflict. The only thing I would suggest doing is getting a catchier banner on the top of you page. Right now it just looks too plain to me.
