Hello,

I wanted to receive some feedback on our company's development project thats been going on the past several months. Its an "Open Blog," probably the One and Only of its kind.. It allows the general public to register for free and post blog entries.

In turn, it acts as a powerful "wiki blog" like resource that is searchable for news, updates, content, resources, articles, entertainment, pretty much anything.

It also has a variety of community extras; Classifieds section, Active Comment Discussions on Posts, Products, Forums, and more.

Anybody have feedback on the site? Looking forward to hearing something.

It took a while to load. Do you have wp-cache enabled?

The design is really slick and simple.

The content isn't really my cup of tea. Try recruiting 7 dedicated people who can post an in depth article every day in turn.

I really like the clean style and ease of navigation---

Only suggestion I would have is maybe not have so many stories on the front page --- Some people may not want to scroll, and scroll, and scroll.

The blog loaded fast too which is always a plus.

Thanks for replying, much mahalo. Basically for now we're just letting a lot of content slide that we would rather not, until we have the leisure to turn down bad articles every day because we are just starting out.

Once we have a solid amount coming in every day, we will only accept high quality content. And also the IncTrade category is our company, and we are the only ones who will post in it, of course high quality articles.

Thank you for the suggestion, I removed the amount of front page stories it shows. The loading has gotten even better since the other day.

Thanks for taking the time to write, I appreciate it. Its almost ready to be promoted, we're really looking to have some solid registered users to start posting articles (preferably someone who would just duplicate articles from their personal blog) to test the site and gain more content.

Next week we should be releasing sister sites that will be mostly author written stuff that feeds into openblogger. They will be a reviews blog for entertainment, movies, music, etc. and a politics blog covering the election and the war. They will also be open to have user-submitted content. The network will expand from there with a heavy ad campaign.

Thanks everyone for the replies again, we had some major bugs with IE 6+ that are now fixed, so please do have another look at it.

We attempted to have arrows for the slideshow, but they won't cooperate in Internet Explorer, so until then we're sticking with the same intro slideshow.
