Yes, England goes smoke free. It is a big hooray for me and to those non-smokers too. I can't wait for it. I can't imagine going to any public places which are cigarette smoke-free. I will definitely enjoy walking on the streets that no one passes me, waiting for a bus in a bus stop that no one standing beside me, and having a break from work that no one splitting out smoke from a cigarette....England Goes Smoke Free

England going smoke free... This july there will be lots of long faces in the pub's throughout England. I love visiting my family in the U.K'; some of my fond memories are of myself and my cousin chain smoking hand rolled cigarettes while downing numerous pints of that pub's local home brew. I don't smoke that often and know it's not good for you but just something that goes hand in hand being in a 150 year old pub somewhere is a big tall glass of ale and some hand rolled tobacco. It is better just I can see alot of resistence and even more searches. Do let us know how it goes and I'll be reading your bloggeries to find out. Good idea and thanks for sharing!

Great blog! And I agree with Rob. It will be difficult to picture England without smokers! (that can be seen anyway) I confess that I am a light smoker, and while I see the need for a smoke free world, I always think that we have rights too. lol

But I love the idea, and will be following this as well to see how it turns out.
