Yeah and apparently it is about time! I did really well in the seocontest - on the final day of the contest June 15 I had #1 in MSN and #3 in Yahoo! and #4 in Google.

I am really excited now to start putting all these great suggestions to use on designing my new non-seocontest blog.

SEO is for Girls

I don't want to have categories listed on the main page - I am going to set up a nice find posts by categories page - this is to ensure no duplicate content, and so that I can spread my Google PR properly.

So let me know how I am doing so far. BTW - I am not responsible for the graphics, this is all thanks to a friend of mine (but aren't they great!?).

Verdict...

The header is awesome ! I love it, it's original, blends well with the blog - I give it a A !

I'm a little bit bothered by the pink background. It's almost to bright, too pink. I like the colour, but maybe darken it a bit... Although keep in mind I have a very large screen (lucky me !) so I see more pink than most users will.

Other than that, I like it !!!

It's really hard to critize other bloggers' work. I mean, design and color scheme are very personal... not everyone like mine !

I just mentionned it cause it affects the visibility of the text a bit.

No really, don't ever worry about that with me! As I have not formally "moved in" I am absolutely looking for criticism. I felt the same way (even though I love the hot pink) I know it might not appeal to everyone, and I don't want people to leave my soon to be great blog because of a small detail like that.

Sometimes it is hard for people to be honest about your blog (they want to be nice) but in a situation like this where I am in the process of creating it, I am looking for brutal honesty - well, okay, not BRUTAL honesty, but I still value your opinion a lot!

I am going to play around with it tonight and see what I come up with...

Could you make the header clickable so that it's easier to come back to the homepage ? I know there's a "home" button, but most blogger do this way... I can show you how to do it if you need.

Yes I want to do this so badly!!! I am just so new with the PHP and I was not sure how it worked and how to make the header clickable... but I would really appreciate if you could tell me! This annoys me to no end as well, and I have had several requests to do this!
