Please review "Online Freebies"

Hi. I'd really appreciate if you could help review my blog that is all about Online Freebies/Samples.

I'm not going to go into it too much as I know alot of forums don't like the things I'm talking about but I'd ask you review it as a blog and nothing else.

I think you need some kind of image at the top that brings the point of "Freebies" across to potential readers. What about finding something that allows someone to subscribe and be notified of new freebies (MyFreebies) they are interested in? Notify me when Oprah is giving out free cars again.

I agreed thats you need a banner for your header and I think that your template would be more attractive if it were filled with brighter colors, cause i believe that your primary audience would be women and teenagers (Personal assumption)

Your write up is pretty easy to understand so I guess I should compliment you on that.

Also, I think that you can sign up with some affiliates that offer free trials and sample and have some banners up on the home page.

Also you could have some interactive plugins installed like a poll, ratings, etc

thanks for the input people.. very helpful and i've got someone working on a new header for me as we speak.

as for the plug ins, can you use them when you use wordpress.com ? i know i can use widgets but theirs seem rather limited

Site layout functions well - maybe you could have a section where people could suggest freebie items to get - this way you can have the readers generate some posting ideas. :-P

Hello there, if you really want to create some hype you need to improve your blog design. When I first see your header it just turns me away. Also you should try to host it yourself because you'll find that although you can get some traffic hosting it on wordpress.com or blogger.com, people will respect you more if you host it by yourself. But I can understand if you don't have the time or cash to do so, it's just a suggestion.

But good luck though, you never know!
