My wife is very active with animal rights and preventing animal cruelty so we just created a blog to help her get the word out.

We'll donate any profits we make on AnimalsNeedHelp.com to animal rights organizations like the ASPCA, PETA and possibly some local animal rescue societies.

Please show your support for animals all over the world.

If you have an animal or pet rescue related site we are looking to place some of these in our blogroll and links page.

Great Blog Topic! A great place up in the suburbs is The Assisi Foundation - the people are awesome, and we got two of our best little kitties from them! I did a charity raffle at our annual christmas party and getting ready to send them a check!

We were just going to send another donation to PETA last night ourselves and my wife said "There must be something else we can do too to help help the little animals" So I sprang into action...

What a great way to get exposure out there! I attended the SES in Chicago - and they stated that by 2010 70% of content that is brought up in search will be user generated... and it's amazing to see the blogs and info that are begining to surface.!

Is it just me or are the only two posts on the front page the exact same post?

Anywho, I love the idea, I love the banner, I love that you've made a blog for it....I'm not loving that the ads are set in the middle of the text so that there are straggling words on the side so that I start to read the paragraph below and realize that there are actually words that I missed up next to the ads. I know you donate part of the money, but it was kind of a turnoff (even just making sure the ad is on its own line would help).

But I still love the cause, hehe. I added it to my "things to blog" folder (and bookmarked it to follow for myself), but it'll definitely be after the new year starts before I can get to it. Best of luck with everything you're trying to do!

I fixed the post dupe and of course we will be adding more content as time goes on. I am aware of the ads problem, it is a Worpress plugin that places ads in the posts and I can't seem to make it have it's own line.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

We will be donating 100% of the profit from this blog not just part of it.

Anything we make on PPC, our total portion of sales from the pet supply companies we have listed there and any donations that may come in.

It is our way of helping a cause we believe in.

That is nice that some time in the future you mention us in your own blog.

Whoops...sorry, I thought I read that it said part of the proceeds, but it does say 'all'. My mistake.

No problem, and I did dink with the adsense setup and got it to display on a single line now. I just had to <center> it.
