Hello everyone, i started writing a blog on working at home ideas. I have spent over $2000 on ebooks and software to make money online. I have now started making a decent living and writing a blog to help people not spend thousands on throw away ideas that dont work. If some people could review it and let me know if there is anything i can do to make it more efficient, please let me know! Profiting From Home My blog has only been up for 3 days and has almost 100 hits, so i think its actually getting noticed, but i have not recieved any reviews and i would like some!
All help would be greatly appreciated! Randy Last edited by rdurham527; 11-25-2007 at 05:55 PM. |

Nice topic but i think the layout is just too simple according to that. You should use some lively colours. He you have spent 2000$ on nothing, you can spend some more to get yourself a domain.I feel its always better to blog on wordpress, but it depends,on one's needs.

Hi Randy, welcome to the niche!
I'd suggest you show more than one post on your front page, so visitors don't have to click into categories to see a few samples of posts. Also, using a bit more whitespace would make the posts themselves easier to read. You welcome post, for example, is basically one huge paragraph. Breaking that up would help a lot. Tweaking the colors in your Adsense ad to better blend with your theme would also be a good idea. Kudos on your low-key placement of ads, by the way! Jay |

The whole purpose of the website is to show people you dont need to put hundreds of dollars into something to start making money online. A free blog to run + Adsense + referral links makes me a lot of money, and it shows others that they can do the same thing. Yes I have spent more than $2000 on more "great home jobs" than i can even remember, but This site is built for the people who need help starting and dont want to pay for ebooks. Thank you guys for the reviews and I will keep working on it today. I will break up the information into paragraphs and I am actually going to shorten it even more as I am starting to feel it is losing me return visits. Thank you guys so much for the info! I will post again when i have revamped it! Randy |

Alright, I am going to redo that into a single ad at the bottom. Does the picture look good there to give it more of a friendly feel instead of the google search engine to make it seem more friendly to users. let me know please

Randy,
I think your site is very informative - especially for the newbie who is wondering what programs do or do not work. I like the simplicity of your site - easy to read. (But, you may want to run your posts through a spellcheck as I saw a few typos - not really a big deal - I just happen to notice those types of things). I didn't see the picture that you mentioned in the post above, but I think adding some pictures/graphics would help keep people's interests. By the way - thanks for the info! |
