Hi all... I'm new to blogging as I just created a new blog called Cinema Experts... I would like you to see and review my blog, pointing what is good and what is bad, what i should add and what i should delete... Anything you say will be most welcome...

Like the layout and love the categorization!! If all that is original content I can see this getting great search engine traffic eventually with alittle link building. Nice looking lblog you sure seem very thorough which is great.

I think you are on the RIGHT PATH and should keep it up. Also enjoyed the integration of images whenever possible.

Yes, it is half original content i would say...

You see, i dont really know the actors/actresses/directors/producer biographies. So i usually try to search information from wikipedia, imdb, and mostly fan sites (they are obssessed about them and usually have it all)

The reviews are original, that i can guarentee you. Sometimes it's difficult to write, because english it's not my mother tongue, but it's getting easier...

I usually write reviews whenever i have free time so that i can update my blog everyday... So some times i have like ten reviews to post so i can rearrange the layout and other things in the blog, not worrying about the posts...

Yesterday I couldn't update my blog because I was sick all week (i had few reviews done) but i do update it every day with post. Everyday you have a Movie of the Day and a Biography of the Day (related to the movie), and also "additional" ones on thurdays (Series of the Week) and saturdays (A Weekend With)...

From your review: What do you really mean when you refer to "link building";

Any ideas to improve it? Thank You for you review and for welcome me to the forum as well...

p.s. I really am very thorough...

Where to start?

I think with the work and effort you are putting in getting a domain and using wordpress maybe your best options in terms of scalability and workability.

You need to get facts straight so makes sense using wiki etc and that is fine as long as you write it in your own words.

Would you consider moving to wordpress on your own domain? If not I can give you some tips but blogger is so limiting and you never own your content b/c at anytime it *could* be gone.

I'd read that post and ask any questions you may have in the Blogging Basics forum. Zhuli or anyone else who has made the move could help you. There are guides out there as well I believe.

you have a pretty nice blog... more SEO work and i think your site will be one of the good ranking in google...
try social bookmarking for your site to be visible to other bloggers... also try blogcatalog and mybloglog..
there are lots of people there who'll goin' to appreciate your site..
also try directory submission but make sure those directories are already crawled by google and has "nofollow"

I agree with your post but regarding directories you want to make sure they do NOT have "nofollow".

wanna add that choose a directory with category suited to your site!!...
