I like the non-ad, non-catalog posts... wait... post. There's only one of those, I think. And now I'm checking the recipe to see if it's trying to sell me something. No, not unless there's some way that Food Network is paying you for that link.

OK, I liked that post, but I was pretty put off by the number of ads - an ad before _and_ after your post has a feeling of "Oh, all _right_, if you're going to nag me, here's some content. Sheesh, you people are so demanding. Now pay me back by clicking an ad."

And then some of your posts are ads, like the one trying to sell earrings. And some point very directly to products on other sites, which makes me suspect that you may be getting a clickthrough or commission on those, making those ads as well.

The end result after a few minutes is, "Hey, wait a minute. This is a catalog disguised as a blog. I'm outta here."

If that's not true - if you're really after having a blog - I'd change some things. I'd cut down on the ads, or ideally eliminate them all together while you build readers. I'd have more posts that aren't just about specific products to buy. In general, I'd eliminate all resemblance to a catalog.

Yes your layout seems off and very difficult to read. You need some clean lines to your blog.

Much more importantly, ChickenFreak is correct that your blog appears to be a big ad and catalog. Who have some interesting click throughs. Are you getting a commission from all those links in your blog posts? And you do have a lot of ads.

Of course, I enjoyed reading that you drink a raspberry white mocha at Starbucks, but that's a sugary almost non-coffee drink. White mocha sauce is pretty much sugar, and then you add another layer of sugar with the raspberry syrup.

Keep up the good work! I hope you will continue and consistent in blogging. Love and enjoy it! Do not think about earning. You need to be contented at first from the comments of your readers either good or bad. Bad for me is still good because I know that I caught their attention!

just to add up with what crazyhorse said..bad comments is helpful too..in a way that you can look at the dark side of the post chance to make things better next time..

I like it. I'm not a big fan of flashy over the top blogs. Yours is really neat and original. Congrats again on getting accepted to your preferred school!
