Hi and welcome to the forum,

I'd recommend having more posts on the front page it looks like a ghost town right now and if I didn't look for archives I'd thought you had one post. Also the template is so generic it says nothing about your blog. I'd add more to the front page, spice up the template and maybe get a custom header to start... Try some of that and post here again. Also be sure to look through and participate in the rest of the forum; it will help you build a better blog.
