I apologize ahead of time if this doesn't make much sense, but here it goes... when i looked at your blog the first thing that came to mind was that it looked like a blog or site from different visiters to my blog that get logged as spam when they leave a comment. This is because of how the layout is and possibly even some of the colors. but the content was good and informative.

The appearance is a little bland. Content is fine. The sidebar may be a bit too busy.
