Hi girls and boys, my name is Pelf, and I'm from Malaysia. I am a 20-year-old-with-6-years'-experience postgraduate-student. I'm doing my Master of Science degree in Conservation Biology. My research project involves running all kinds of feeding trials on a species of freshwater turtles and then see how well they grow in different trials. In fact, I'm now writing my thesis *pulls hair*

I maintain a "somewhat personal" blog at http://chenpn.com and aptly named it pelf-ism is contagious. I said "somewhat personal" because I'm not very sure whether it's a personal blog, or just a place to showcase my writing. Or whatever.

Have you heard? One of the turtle pictures that I submitted to a turtle community was voted into the calendar (it is featured in February 2008)! Though the other picture was not voted in, it attracted a lot of attention and it now graces the front page of the 2008 calendar.
