The Watford Dragons are a football or "soccer" team based in England, in the town of... Watford.

A bunch of youth's. Who didn't know each other particularly well, and barely knew how to play football where going to have to learn fast.

That's the catch-line.


It's really a football team, and it has been thought-of to create a blog of the timeline and general story of the team. The history of the team has already been documented, but in a blog form it maybe more effective. It will have AdSense, too.

I think it's a cool idea, my main suggestion would try be try and make the blog the colors of your team (If they are blue good job! ) and try and make the blog itself look alittle more soccer oriented to catch the attention of any football fan that visits it. That should help increase the rate of of people taking the time to explore your blog. If you aren't making alot with your current ads maybe put a soccer related banner in there.

I've also noticed it still has posts from 2004 on the front page; I'd definitely start updating it a lot more often!

The team's colors are Blue & Black, I may change the layout slightly.

And the blog posts dates have been changed, so the blog starts from where the very first days of the team, and will continue to the modern day. They where actually only posted a few days ago.

It might take a while to post them all, but this way, it can still be seen as a sort of story-telling blog.

Ahhh ok I was wondering. Once the history is out of the way you may wish to post in present date but just mention the dates... You may even want to do that now as anyone going to it would assume it was a dead blog that had been abandoned. To be honest it never crossed my mind that you were just dating the events in the blog but posted recently so you may wan to consider just using todays date but the title and header are the event and date of it. That way people would be more inclined to come back thinking your busy working on it which you are.

Think it over but I sincerely think that it's the way to go. I honestly thought your site was 3 years old and only had a few posts .

There is lots of information on these forums, you can always use the search button to see if your question has been discussed; if not start a new thread and someone here will be able to help you in a timely fashion.
