Good idea, black hat discussions don't belong here. But, since I'm a new member, please forgive me for asking: what topics or subjects do you consider "black hat"? I have seen lots of (what I would label as) "stupid SEO" ideas here, but nothing really "black hat." Thanks!

Seriously, a Google search can probably tell you everything you need to know. The truth, however, is that most of those techniques are likely to get you banned or limited in the SERP so I wouldn't even go there.

Go back to the old Westerns - good guys in old Western movies NEVER did things that were against the Law of the West. (read: unwritten laws of the internet...) Besides, if you use them, you can get bitten, as by a snake of the old west.

I'm not getting into it, if you are doing something that is unethical or "scammy" then your hat is black. Go google it if you want to find out, this is NOT the place for it.

We only have an SEO forum because it is a part of blogging even though people who waste time with SEO often have far worse results then those who focus on adding value to visitors, sigh.
