Default linkwheel

Is there someone who has experience with this? i was wondering if this is effective for linkbuilding in a competitive niche. And is it wise to use your main site in the middle or get a site in the middle that link to your main site.

link wheel is that you place your site in the middle and around it you create free blog sites for example. then you post articles on the free blog sites and link them to the site next to them and to the main site in the middle. You start to social bookmark the articles on the freeblog sites.

hi machutch,

General consensus is that linkwheels can be quite effective in marginally competitive keywords but for the highly competitive words, linkwheels won't have much impact.
