Default Google SEO | Yahoo SEO | MSN SEO

I have see a lot of discussions, tips and techniques about SEO and PR.I think specifically PR is related to Google only.
I want to know what are the similarities and differences among 3 most common search engines...
I think Google SEO is mostly discussed what about Yahoo and MSN?

Personally, we don't care about Yahoo!, MSN or Bing. The main reason is: they don't deliver enough of business to justify the expense. We can make more if we invest the same effort into Google. Also, if you can rank on Google, you will usually rank on Yahoo! as well. No idea about Microsoft's search engines.

Google is providing us about 90% of the traffic. We also rank in bing and yahoo but we got to little traffic from them. so google SEO is the thing most people do, and i think if you do the google seo good you automatic rank in bing and yahoo also. Don't know about msn sorry

There is no MSN anymore. It's Bing and Yahoo is using Bing as well. I'm surprised that Bing claimed to be extremly intelligent search engine does not even list my site on top when I type my URL in. Bing usually wokes up when you make spelling mistake to your URL or there are some DNS issues finding your site. I never had used it for a search.

I hope you don't think I'm having a go at you - but I just moused over your 3 forum signature links - and non of them are keyword domains

Bing places great emphasis on keyword domain names - and if your domain name is not matched to your primary search phrase you don't really have much chance of a page #1 ranking

For the above reason. Bing is best for mini-sites built to target a single keyword search phrase - not sites targeting lots of search phrases

Bing really should list your site for a domain name search - but nobody but you is going to do a search like that anyway

I still have around 30% of direct traffic that Google Analytics shows me. Why are you thinking that those people are not typing my domain name to IE Adress bar (where bing get's it)?

Besides, I hate those long doman names and my name (matches my blog domain name) should be still a keyword for Bing?

My mistake - I thought you meant entering your domain name in the search box

Forget that Bing is not finding your domain name - concentrate on Bing matching your primary keyword phrase to search queries - that's more important - and the easiest way to get Bing to match a site's primary keyword phrase to search queries is to have an exact match keyword domain name - so if your primary search phase was "learn blogging" - then you want learnblogging.com .net .org or learn-blogging.com .net .org

And yes, most of the short domain names have already been registered, leaving only the longer names - but the longer names are better targeted, and result in more sales, adsense clicks, etc.

You probably won't like this, but having domain name that matches your name is pure vanity - you're not mcdonalds, cocacola, etc. who's going to search for your name? - not me!

it takes time but you the big thing is to create conent that people will link to. Your site is so covered in ads that I have trouble finding the content.
Great conemt first, then put up ads.
