It is pretty simple.
Go on to social bookmarking sites, sign up for an account, bookmark sites, and tag them appropriately.

Presumably, people with the same tags as you might come to your site to see what you have bookmarked with the tag (i.e.- bringing you traffic).

Take a look at this site: Social Marker. There is a plugin for Social Marker that makes "Social Bookmarking" really easy if you are running a blog. There is also a piece of script that you can add to a regular website that will do the same thing.

A tip: Take care and post some relevant thoughts to a bookmark. Spammy junk is easy to spot and they may ban you from bookmarking.

Also, take a look at youproblog's video, posted 3 or 4 post up. It can be a big help.

youproblog's video gives a pretty good presentation of using the Social Poster.

Here's a tip to make the task of registering a bit easier.

FireFox has a really good form filler that works very well with Social Poster.

The AddOn is called Fire Form. You can actually train it to take care of all of the pain in the kester registering required with the 47 bookmark sites.

It will cut your time a good 70% to 80% registering. Also, you can set up a lot of different profiles and register different IDs with each site. That will be spreading your posts around.

Get the addon by doing a Google of this term. form firefox addon It's the 1st link on the SE.
