Thumbs up Seo posting headlines

I just found out a few days ago that ....

If you put the keyword you are optimising for at the start of the post head you rank much better for it , I did not know what before
Thought I would share it with you all as my little SEO tip.

So for the words famous blogger this famous blogger optimises much better than this famous blogger.

Does it make a difference, hell yes. I now get lots more traffic....

If only someone had told me earlier. Can you spot anything else obvious I should or should not be doing on my blog murray newlands.com?

Murray

That's a big one Murray, also using the h1 or h2 or even bolding the keywords at the start of your post can add a little influence.

Also try building links to the exact post page rather then just the main blog, thats where social media sites (digg, delicious) make the biggest difference, but you could use blog-comment links aimed at specific posts.

Great tips in both of your posts, guys. Sometimes it's the smallest changes that can really make a huge difference.

Yes the keyword appearing early in the title is good for your page's optimization. Some people manage to put it in twice without appearing too spammy. That really works also

Default Seo posting headlines - primary and secondary keywords

Better to have your primary keyword phrase at the start of the title and a secondary but closely related keyword phrase somewhere in the rest of the title

e.g. "Make Money Blogging - blogging for cash"
