Submit my blog to google and other searhc engines

Well , i had just started a blog Islam

Now i want to know how can i add my blog to google and other search engines I had already added metatags in my blog by using

<meta content='my blog description.' name='description'/>
<meta content=' my keywords' name='keywords'/>

I ad also added my sitemap to google webmaster tool.

Now the problem is even i type my blog name http://islam-faq.blogspot.com into google search box my blog did not appear in result ,

How i can see that Google is showing my blog in search result and secondly can i see in which page/position google is showing my blog.

Don't submit it. Just write and network with other bloggers on your topic and your blog will get found naturally, indexed and away you go.

you just have to link to other active sites like forums or blogs, and Google bots will find your blog and will index it.

It actually takes a long time for Google to pick up a new blog. You can't expect it to pick things up right away, because your blog is too new.

It takes time for Google to index the blog and show it in search results.

It does take time but since you are on blogger submitting to webmaster tools is rather easy. when you are in your blogger dashboard scroll to the bottom of tha page and look under "tools and resources." You will see a link got Google Webmaster Tools. Follow the prompts and you can now track your site through google and see how often it's getting crawled.

Your blog should be indexed in good time. As others have pointed out, networking helps also.

or I use dnscoop.com and then evaluate your site, then it gives you the number.

Actually if you get some links pointing to your site it should get indexed very quickly. I often find that just submitting a link to Digg gets a page linked.

I had the opposite problem recently Building a site I didn't want to get indexed until I had finished it - I added noindex nofollow in the header, didn't add any links - and it still got indexed
