I think you have a great blog there, and I am impressed with your readership given the youth of your blog. That is impressive, what kind of promotion tactics are you using?
Honestly, I haven't really done all that much promotion. Basically, I've just been commenting on other blogs and forums like this one. I tried adwords a little because I had a free credit with something else but I doubt I've gotten any return visitors from it.

So far I would say that linking to other blogs has gotten my blog the most exposure as some of them have been kind enough to return the favor.

Also, just curious, what is a no follow tag?
I think vandelay covered this pretty well but I would like to add that the plugin I use is LinkLove. This plugin allows you to specify a required number of comments before the nofollow tag is removed from the readers comments.

That's good that linking out has worked. Have you focused on linking to any particular type of blogs? Obviously linking to A-List bloggers isn't as likely to get you a return link, since they may not even notice your link.

Vandelay makes a great point; try and link to sites larger than yours but not out of your ballpark. A-Listers won't even notice it most likely and are less likely to link back.

Regarding LinkLove: That sounds like a great piece of software. People shouldn't get a link back unless they made a comment that contributes to the discussion.

Best of luck with your blog,

Rob
