Keep doing what you are doing! The layout and template are very professional and I like how you incorporate images of some sort into almost all of your bloggeries. Is this your first blog? If not what other blogs do you have?

I'd work on promoting and continuing to do what you are doing. Very clean and professional looking blog you have.

I agree with Rob, the blog looks nice. It's a clean layout. My only recommendation is more personal preference than right/wrong, but I would consider not showing the FeedBurner subscriber count until it's a little higher. Although you have some good interaction and good content there, so the numbers should rise pretty quickly.

I didn't think this was your first crack at it . Regarding directory submission it's important to vary your descriptions to avoid duplicate content. To be honest unless it's a great free directory don't bother submitting. Look for editorial integrity. Look at the latest links and the links in your category if it's all spam and trashy sites meaning the owner lets anyone in why bother getting links from bad neighborhoods in the internet? Look for quality directories with strong editorial integrity. Also if you want submission you can normally find people who will do 100-250 submissions for $10-$25 which would save you enormous amounts of time that could be used better. Than maybe submit to a few quality paid ones that are reasonably priced and continue writing great content and working on a few keywords that aren't that competitive because remember if your new you gotta start somewhere! Finally try and do some guest blogging with other people of similar rank on the internet. Unless you have killer content you may get turned down from some big guys so start doing this with other people and build up. I just started guest blogging and it's been a great experience.

Be sure to visit http://www.bloggeries.com/forum/requ...ted-free.html; it's a thread explaining our free listing promotion.

Best of luck,

Rob

Actually, this is my second blog. My first blog about web design & development, together with my site, was sold a year ago to fund my own project. It has a lot of traffic because I paid all the promotion things on that. But the buyer didn't make any updates on that blog so now it vanished.

I just decided going back to blogging last month because I have no time on making a content-rich website that I would like to have.

@vandelay
Hmm, I just did what I have read about blog promotion, that's why I put FeedBurner, . Honestly, I just know a very little knowledge about marketing and promotion and I considered it as the most difficult task to have a successful website/blog. Currently, I just doing manual directory submissions everyday (at least 2 dirs) everyday for the promotion of that blog. I have read methods to promote a blog but it's very difficult to do because of my time

Btw, I'm into freelance web designing, that's why I have very little time for promotion.
