Blog Design/Link Help

Alot of people in here have given me so much help you all seem very bright. Now to help you flex your web brains I have some questions,

First is design. I use a wordpress design atm, what do others use, I'm not sure I'm getting the most from the experience.

Secondly is my google adsense ads, I find that when people click on them, (and I have tried myself) that they don't go anywhere.

Even if you don't answer I would like to say thanks guys for all of the help.

Well this is the right forum if you want to show off your blog and get advice. First, there are a lot of people that use wordpress themes. There are a lot of free ones out there and I'd suggest you find a different one. Your theme is rather, well, bland. If you have the cash, or are making some from your site, buy a theme. There are a lot of people that have some good ones for sale and it will make your blog stand out.

Secondly, don't click your google ads. It's against there policies and will get you kicked off their program. Go back to your account and get new code. See how that goes but I would highly suggest not clicking on your own ads.

Thirdly, there are other ad companies besides adsense. Look around at a few other blogs and you can find some.

a) That side bar is HUGE MAN.

b) If you gonna keep it put some ADS that are blended INTO that huge side bar at the VERY TOP.

c) I'd take away the white ads top and do as b) instructed.

I have to agree I would probably decrease the width of the sidebar and also remove the white space for the top.
