As for constructive critic, I would recommand you to pick a custom template. There're a lot of free ones on the web and it really set one's blog apart.

lol, Thanks and what a coincidences I actual had the same idea and I try to change my template but when I did I lost some of my formatting and other items . Normally I could have just edited the html part and add them back but I got a headache and I decided not to I will check out your blog

I think it's very clean and professional. Maybe throw a banner up top so it loads before the big ad down the left. Apart from that it's a nice blog just keep writing quality posts and try and do blogroll exchanges and other things to get links so you're not totally reliant on technorati and search engines.
